Bucharest, 20 May 2024 - The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) and the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) signed today a cooperation protocol with the common objective of facilitating access to financial education for as many football players as possible, but also for all those involved in this phenomenon.
Starting in 2024, the main joint actions of the two institutions will focus on:
- The promotion and implementation of joint educational projects and programmes, as well as actions with educational purposes, in order to increase the level of financial education among football players, starting from children, juniors and seniors;
- organising in partnership educational events (workshops, seminars, public campaigns, symposiums, conferences, round tables, etc.);
- holding public events to promote common values and the results of activities carried out in partnership.
In the framework of the partnership between FRF and ASF, the national junior and senior teams will have access in the coming months to financial education and investment management sessions. At the same time, the two institutions aim to find solutions to problems faced by active players at the end of their careers.
To mark the debut of this partnership, the ASF team held an information session on financial education today, entitled "About money at the grass roots", dedicated to FRF staff, in the context of the second Innovation Day organized by the Romanian Football Federation in 2024.
