Decisions adopted by the Board of the Financial Supervisory Authority

Bucharest, 28 February 2024 – At today's meeting, the Council of the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) has adopted measures on the functioning of the supervised non-bank financial markets - insurance, capital market and private pensions, as follows:

A)  Regulation

Draft Rule amending Article 3 of the Financial Supervisory Authority Rule no. 22/2020 on the temporary amendment of the maximum limit applicable to investments of private pension funds in government securities (the draft will be published on www.asfromania.ro, for public consultation for 10 days).

B)  Authorisation

Approval of the application of SSIF Bursa Română de Mărfuri S.A. (Romanian Commodities Exchange) to authorise Mrs. Ioana - Alina Drăgan as member of the Board of Directors;

Approval of the application of STK Financial AFIA S.A. to authorise Mr. Adrian Roșianu as member of the Board of Directors of the company, following his appointment for a new mandate;

Approval of Mr. Aurel Badea for a new mandate as Deputy General Manager of Allianz - Țiriac Asigurări S.A.;

Approval of the application for authorisation of Mr. Radu Crăciun as member of the Board of Directors of BCR Pensii Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private S.A.;

Approval of the withdrawal of the shares issued by Exploatare Portuară Drobeta S.A. Orșova from trading and their delisting from ASF’s records, in view of the completion of the procedure provided for in Art. 115 of ASF Regulation No. 5/2018, as amended;

Approval of the withdrawal upon request of the operating licence of the brokerage company Star Broker de Asigurare S.R.L., as well as its deregistration from Section I and transfer to Section II of the Register of Principal Intermediaries;

Approval of the application for authorisation to amend the Custody Agreement for the assets of the Voluntary Pension Fund BCR Plus, managed by BCR Pensii Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private S.A.;

Approval of the application for prior approval of the amendment to the Prospectus of the voluntary pension scheme for the Voluntary Pension Fund BCR Plus, managed by BCR Pensii Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private S.A.;

Approval of the application for the amendment to the Individual Membership Act of the Privately Managed Pension Fund BCR, managed by BCR Pensii Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private S.A.;

Approval of the application for the amendment of the Private Pension Scheme Prospectus for the Privately Managed Pension Fund BCR, managed by BCR Pensii Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private S.A.;

Approval of the application of Societate de Investiții Alternative cu Capital Privat Sparking Capital S.A. for the authorisation of amendments to the company's Articles of Incorporation.
