Decisions adopted by the Board of the Financial Supervisory Authority

Bucharest, February 14^th, 2024 – During today’s meeting, the Financial Supervisory Authority’s Council (ASF) adopted measures concerning the functioning of the supervised non-bank financial markets - insurance, capital market and private pensions, as follows:

A)  Regulation

Regulation amending and supplementing ASF Regulation no. 13/2018 on trading venues (the regulation will be sent for publication to the Official Gazette of Romania);

Regulation amending and supplementing the Regulation of the Financial Supervisory Authority No 15/2021 on the use of the system of omnibus accounts and the application of non-prevailing mechanisms for financial instruments and the Regulation of the Financial Supervisory Authority No 16/2021 on the establishment, disclosure and enforcement of collateral (the Regulation will be submitted for publication to the Official Gazette of Romania).

B)  Licensing

Approval of Mr Tiberiu-Cristian Maier for a new mandate as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Signal Iduna Asigurare Reasigurare S.A.;

Approval of the request for authorisation of Madam Beáta Petrušová as member of the Supervisory Board of Generali Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private S.A.;

Approval of the application for authorisation to amend the Individual Act of Membership of the Aegon Esențial Facultative Pension Fund, managed by Carpathia Pensii - Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private S.A.;

Approval of the request for approval of the amendment of the Private Pension Scheme Prospectus for the BRD Private Pension Fund, administered by BRD Societate de Administrare a Fondes de Pensii Private S.A.;

Approval of the request for final approval of the amendment of the voluntary pension scheme prospectus for the BRD Medio Voluntary Pension Fund, administered by BRD Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private S.A.;

Approval of the request for final approval of the amendment of the Prospectus of the voluntary pension scheme for the Fondul de Pensii Facultative Pensia Mea, managed by BT Pensii - Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Facultative S.A.;

Approval of the request for prior approval of the amendment of the Prospectus of the voluntary pension scheme for the Fondul de Pensii Facultative Stabil, managed by Generali Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private S.A.;

Approval of the request of the Investment Management Company Sira S.A. to withdraw the operating authorisation of the Open-ended Investment Fund Omninvest and to remove it from the public register of the ASF, following its merger by absorption by the Open-ended Investment Fund Star Focus managed by S.A.I. Star Asset Management S.A.
