Decisions adopted by the Board of the Financial Supervisory Authority

Bucharest, 1 February 2024 – At today's meeting, the Council of the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) adopted measures on the functioning of the supervised non-bank financial markets - insurance, capital market and private pensions, as follows:

A)  Regulation

Draft Rule on the rates of contributions payable by insurers to the Policyholders Guarantee Fund (the draft will be published on www.asfromania.ro for 10 days for public consultation);

Rule amending and supplementing Rule No. 7/2009 on the special administration of privately administered pension funds, approved by the Decision of the Private Pension System Supervisory Commission No. 8/2009 (the rule will be sent to the Official Journal of Romania for publication);

Rule amending and supplementing Rule No. 8/2009 on the special administration of voluntary pension funds, approved by the Decision of the Private Pension System Supervisory Commission No. 9/2009 (the rule will be sent to the Official Journal of Romania for publication);

Draft Rule amending and supplementing Rule No. 8/2010 on the authorisation of private pension fund administrators, taking over the management of voluntary pension funds and the organisation of assets and liabilities at the level of private pension fund administrators, approved by the Decision of the Private Pension System Supervisory Commission No. 15/2010 (the draft will be published on www.asfromania.ro for 10 days for public consultation).

B)  Authorisation

Authorisation of Ms. Roberta-Mirela Neamțu as the person in charge of the risk management structure of BRD Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private S.A.;

Approval of the application of S.A.I. Raiffeisen Asset Management S.A. for the authorisation of changes in the documents of the open-end investment fund Raiffeisen Romania Dividend;

Approval of the application of BT Asset Management S.A.I. S.A. request for the authorisation of changes to the documents of the open-ended investment funds BT Maxim, BT Real Estate and BT Technology;

Approval of the application for the amendment of the Individual Membership Act of the Privately Administered Pension Fund Vital, administered by Carpathia Pensii - Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private S.A.;

Approval of the application for the final approval of the amendment to the Prospectus of the voluntary pension scheme for the Voluntary Pension Fund NN Activ, administered by NN Asigurări de Viață S.A.;

Approval of the applications for final approval of the amendment to the Prospectus of the voluntary pension scheme for the Voluntary Pension Fund NN Optim, administered by NN Asigurări de Viață S.A.
