CONDITIONS FOR AUTHORISATION OF PRINCIPAL INTERMEDIARIES

These are laid down in the following legislative acts:

• Law No 236/2018 on insurance distribution
• Rule No. 22/2021 on insurance distribution with standard applications and statements can be downloaded HERE (in Romanian only)
• According to Law no. 236/2018 and Rule no. 22/2021, ASF decides on granting the authorization/approval necessary to conduct business as a principal intermediary or on rejecting the application for authorization/approval, within 90 days from the date of submission of the complete documentation.
