Internship program within A.S.F

Bucharest, 27 June 2022 – The Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) is starting an internship programme, which will run from June to December 2022 and will provide 15 young participants with the opportunity to transition from the education system to the labour market by developing professional skills, acquiring practical skills and familiarising them with the specifics of the Authority's work.

During the programme, the internship participants will have the opportunity to get to know the specific activities carried out within the Authority (authorisation, regulation, supervision, control, etc.). At the same time, the programme will focus on training and career guidance for young people.

"The Financial Supervisory Authority is opening its doors to young people interested in the field of non-banking financial markets. We offer them the perspective of the regulator and supervisor of these markets. The internship programme comes as a natural continuation of our financial education projects. We need young people with good academic results to prepare them for a future professional career in non-bank financial markets. Professionals of high moral and professional standing will always find a place in the Financial Supervisory Authority", said the President of ASF, Mr Nicu Marcu.

The 15 young people admitted to this program, master students of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, went through an extensive selection process, with very strict evaluation criteria, both at the level of the educational institution and at the level of the Financial Supervisory Authority.
