Internship program at the Financial Supervisory Authority

Bucharest, 16 December 2024 – The Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) is starting an internship program, addressed to master's students from Romanian universities, which will run from March to September 2025 and will offer to the 25 young participants the opportunity to develop their professional skills, to acquire practical skills, but also to familiarize themselves with the specifics of ASF's activity.

All participants will first undergo a general theoretical training module on the work of the Authority. Subsequently, during the course of the program, the young people enrolled will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the specific activities carried out by the ASF (authorization, regulation, supervision, control, etc.). The ASF internship program will also focus on training and career guidance for young people.

The 25 young people who will participate in the internship program of ASF, master students of the Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest and the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, will go through an extensive selection process, with strict evaluation criteria, both at the level of the educational institution and at the level of the Financial Supervisory Authority.

The Financial Supervisory Authority is thus resuming the internship program, now in its second edition, in order to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the functioning mechanisms of the non-banking financial markets, which are in a continuous dynamic, through direct involvement in practical activities that allow them to develop relevant skills.
