Bucharest, 13 September 2022 – The President of the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF), Mr. Nicu Marcu, met on 12 September 2022, at the Authority's head office, with a delegation of the National Commission on Financial Market (NCFM) of the Republic of Moldova, led by the President of the institution, Mrs. Cornelia Cozlovschi.
The meeting took place within the framework of an extended working visit attended by the Vice President of ASF, Mr. Gabriel Grădinescu, respectively the Vice President of the NCFM, Mr. Vitalie Lemne, as well as experts from both institutions.
Discussions covered a wide range of topics such as the impact of the crisis in Ukraine on investment funds, the evolution of listings in recent years, harmonization of legislation given EU accession, listing a third country company on a regulated market in Romania and the shift from compliance-based to risk-based supervision.
The meeting is part of the Financial Supervisory Authority's strategy to increase transparency and develop bilateral relations with similar European and international institutions.
